Four pillars for robust and stable IT infrastructures
Our infrastructure is built on four key pillars: our own hardware in Germany, strict compliance with the GDPR, open and independent open-source technologies, and hosting exclusively under European law.
Location
Linetz operates its own hardware at a data center in Frankfurt am Main, offering ultra-low latency and reliable connectivity throughout Europe and worldwide.
GDPR compliant
Data protection and digital sovereignty are our top priorities. All data is processed in compliance with the GDPR—without being shared with U.S. services or non-European providers. We consistently rely on German and European service providers and infrastructure within the EU.
No vendor lock-in
We consistently rely on open-source software as the technological foundation of our solutions. This allows us to ensure transparent, traceable, and sustainable IT architectures free from proprietary vendor lock-in. Your data and configurations remain entirely under your control and can be independently maintained or migrated at any time.
Hosting under EU law
As an independent German hosting and IT service provider, we consistently rely on European infrastructure and avoid dependencies on U.S. cloud platforms or non-European corporations. In doing so, we ensure the highest level of digital sovereignty and data protection in accordance with the GDPR and European law.
